Gold Miner: Rags to Riches Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

This privacy policy describes how the Gold Miner: Rags to Riches app (the "Application"), a mobile mining game created by Byteroff Solutions Inc. (the "Service Provider"), handles information when you use the Application as an ad-supported service. This service is provided "AS IS".

Reading or using the Application does not replace any advertising consent, tracking permission, or privacy choices that the Application or your device may request separately where required by law.

Intended Audience

The Application is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. The Application does not verify each player's age; this statement describes the intended audience only.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not require account creation and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, or phone number to play. Analytics and advertising services collect identifiers and other information as described below. The Service Provider does not operate a user-account backend for the Application.

On Android, the Application uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect gameplay and usage analytics and to support advertising measurement. This can include device and app identifiers, app instance identifiers, IP address / approximate location (e.g. country or region), and events such as tutorial completion, level starts and ends, country unlocks, home upgrades, rewarded-ad offer and result events, and ad impression / revenue measurement events. Where enabled by the Service Provider's Google configuration and your applicable privacy choices, Analytics data may also be used with Google Ads for campaign measurement and optimization. The Application does not log your name, email, or a custom user account identity to Analytics. Analytics collection is enabled only when applicable consent rules allow it (see Your Privacy Controls below). These records can be associated with an app installation or device and should not be considered anonymous.

The Application displays advertisements through Appodeal, a third-party ad mediation platform. In connection with serving and measuring ads, the Application and Appodeal (and mediated networks such as Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), AppLovin, and Unity Ads) may collect or process your advertising ID (e.g. Android Advertising ID, iOS Identifier for Advertisers), IP address, device and app information, ad interaction data, and diagnostic and performance information (such as device model, memory, and network or connection information). These data are transmitted to the relevant advertising partners for processing. Approximate location (e.g. country or region) may also be used for ad serving, fraud prevention, and measurement. This advertising data is used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and—where permitted—personalize ads.

The Application stores game progress and settings locally on your device (for example, in an on-device save file and local preferences for audio settings). The save file stays on your device unless you back up your device to a cloud service or transfer data to another device. Separately, gameplay events describing progress and actions may be sent to Firebase Analytics as described above.

If the Application offers optional in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The Service Provider does not receive your full payment card details. Purchase or entitlement status may be stored locally on your device to unlock features.

The Application does not request precise GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library access. On iOS, you may be prompted to allow tracking for personalized advertising (App Tracking Transparency); your choice is handled by the system. Approximate location (e.g. country or region) may be used by advertising and analytics partners as described above.

Your Privacy Controls

You can open this Privacy Policy from Settings → Privacy Policy in the Application. The link opens in your device browser and does not attach advertising identifiers.

Where required by applicable law (for example in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or certain U.S. states), the Application may show a consent or privacy options form when ads are initialized, and may also show Settings → Privacy Choices. Privacy Choices lets you review or change advertising and analytics consent (including analytics storage and related advertising purposes where configured), or exercise applicable sale/sharing opt-outs, through the native consent management platform (CMP) provided with Appodeal / Google User Messaging Platform. The CMP owns the form text, choices, and localization. Opening or using the Application is not treated as Analytics or advertising consent.

Analytics consent. On Android, where consent is required for analytics storage, Firebase Analytics collection remains disabled unless that consent is granted. If you withdraw that consent, the Application disables further Firebase Analytics collection. Available choices depend on your region and the consent form shown to you.

U.S. advertising opt-outs. Where available, Privacy Choices lets you opt out of sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. On Android, the Application also applies these applicable opt-outs to Firebase by denying consent for advertising use of user data and for advertising personalization. An advertising opt-out does not necessarily turn off analytics: when analytics collection remains permitted, gameplay events and ad-impression and revenue events may continue to be recorded for measurement. This does not mean those events remain eligible for all Google Ads advertising uses.

Privacy choices affect future collection and use as applicable; changing a consent choice does not itself delete previously collected data. See Data Retention and Deletion below for privacy and deletion requests.

You can also limit or reset your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. On iOS, you can change App Tracking Transparency permission in system Settings.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy for handling data:

Firebase Analytics (Google). Used on Android to collect usage and gameplay analytics and advertising measurement events (including limited ad-related events such as ad impressions). Firebase / Google may process device identifiers, app instance identifiers, app version, device model, operating system version, IP address, and general location (e.g. country/region). Where linked by the Service Provider and subject to applicable privacy choices, Analytics data may also support Google Ads campaign measurement and optimization. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

Appodeal. Used to display advertisements (e.g. rewarded video and interstitial) and ad mediation, including consent/privacy messaging where required. Appodeal may collect your advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, approximate location, ad interaction data, and diagnostic and performance information (such as device model, memory, and network or connection information) for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. See: Appodeal Privacy Policy.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Used as a mediated advertising network. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising guidance.

AppLovin and Unity Ads may also serve or measure ads through Appodeal mediation. See AppLovin's Privacy Policy and Unity's Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store and Google Play. If you make in-app purchases or leave a store review using native platform features, those interactions are handled by Apple or Google under their policies: Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy. Native in-app review prompts are handled by the OS and do not transmit review content to the Service Provider.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local game data. Progress and settings stored on your device are retained until you uninstall the Application or clear the Application's data from your device settings. The Service Provider does not maintain a cloud copy of your game progress.

Analytics and advertising partner data. Firebase Analytics / Google, Appodeal, Google AdMob, AppLovin, and Unity Ads retain data beyond the immediate processing of an event for measurement, reporting, advertising, and fraud prevention, as applicable. Retention depends on the type of data, the service, applicable legal requirements, and available account settings, including the Google Analytics retention settings configured for the Application. Aggregated reports may be retained separately from individual event records. See the partner policies linked above and Google Analytics retention information. Uninstalling the Application or clearing local data does not automatically delete data already received by these services. You can use partner privacy tools to request deletion where available; advertising and consent controls manage applicable future collection or use and are not a general deletion mechanism.

To request assistance with a privacy or deletion question related to the Application, contact the Service Provider at contact@byteroff.com. Please identify the Application and describe your request. We may need additional information to locate relevant records because the Application has no user accounts. Where data is held by a partner, we may direct you to that partner's request process. Any applicable retention requirements or limitations will depend on the data and the service involved.

Security

The Application stores local game data on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure to protect this data.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-10-05.
